Being different..
Question
Why so many differences between us? Black vs white, Low vs High, Rich vs poor, Educated vs uneducated ? Why we think I’m the best?
Answer
The process of evolution brings in diversification, division etc. So it’s absolutely true that the diversity we observe is a nature’s creation. But that diversity has been brought in to propel and further evolution.
For eg. the different skin colors are a result of adaptation to different environments, which makes human beings capable of living in different environments and terrains.
The different scales in which people possess different kinds of knowledge, brings in fresh perspectives and enables human beings discover newer knowledge or invent newer technologies.
The different scales in which people possess different materials (wealth), enables people to create useful items for human beings with otherwise useless materials.
While diversity is the natural way of evolution, which is the dharma, such a diversity cannot be artificially imposed for long. For eg, if people are too poor or too suppressed or too illiterate or too much suffering due to societal structures, that does not allow them even to adapt and evolve out of their state, then that is adharma.
Things have to flow from region of higher concentration to lower concentration continuously. That is the dharma. If that flow is blocked artificially, it becomes adharma. If adharma goes up, then that ‘self’ manifests to destroy that adharma and bring back parity. This could be by small symmetry breakings that happen continuously or revolutions that trigger huge symmetry breaking events (if suppressed for ).
Hence it depends on every society. Every society should ensure that adharma is contained. There are examples in history, where societies did not pay heed to rising adharma, sided with those who kept committing adharma, with the result that the entire society suffers huge symmetry breaking events, that fractures the society to the point of destruction and evolution starts totally afresh.
